Barrow Lifeboat Station will host an open day on Saturday, May 2nd, from 11am to 4pm. This event is free for all visitors and aims to provide insight into the operations of the RNLI in Barrow.
During the open day, the crew will guide visitors around the station. Attendees will have the opportunity to board the lifeboats, although they will not be launched for this event. The crew will also be available to answer any questions about their work and the RNLI’s mission.
Souvenir Shop and Crew Kit
The souvenir shop at the station will be open, allowing visitors to purchase RNLI merchandise. Additionally, guests can try on the crew’s kit for memorable photo opportunities.
Support for RNLI Mayday Campaign
This open day is part of the RNLI Mayday fundraising campaign, which is the organisation’s primary annual fundraising initiative. Attending the event supports the vital work of the RNLI.
