Barrow Man Charged for Stealing £90.98 Worth of Items from Home Bargains

Shaun Nelson, a 30-year-old resident of Rawlinson Street, Barrow, has been charged with stealing grocery items valued at a total of £90.98 from Home Bargains. The alleged thefts occurred on three separate occasions in September of last year.

Nelson is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on March 16, where he will indicate his plea to the charges brought against him.

Details of the Alleged Thefts

The first incident took place on September 2, when Nelson is accused of stealing food items worth £68.57 from the Home Bargains store. Following this, two further thefts were reported on September 24 and September 27, involving grocery items valued at £10.84 and £11.57 respectively.

The combined value of the alleged stolen goods amounts to £90.98, according to court charges.

Court Proceedings

Shaun Nelson is scheduled to appear before South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on March 16. During this hearing, he will enter his indication of plea regarding the offences he is charged with.
