Cumbria Police is organising two online Q&A sessions for individuals considering a career as a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). These events will take place on Microsoft Teams, providing a platform for potential recruits to gain insights into the role.
The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, and the second on Wednesday, May 6. Both sessions will run from 5pm to 6.30pm.
What to Expect from the Sessions
During these live events, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the application process for becoming a PCSO. Officers from Cumbria Police will be available to provide detailed information about the role and responsibilities.
Direct Interaction with Officers
Participants will be able to ask questions directly to serving officers. This interaction aims to give a realistic view of what it is like to work as a PCSO in the community.
Why Consider a Career as a PCSO?
Becoming a PCSO offers a unique opportunity to engage with the community and contribute to public safety. The role is vital in supporting police officers and fostering relationships with local residents.
