Gadabout Music Festival is returning to Cumbria this summer with live music, street food, camping and family-friendly activities.
The festival will take place at High Hall Farm in Croglin, near Armathwaite, on Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th, 2026. The event will include two days of music, with four days of camping available for festival-goers.
Organisers say the festival will focus on new and independent artists, while keeping the event small, friendly and affordable.

Family-Friendly Festival at High Hall Farm
Gadabout is being promoted as a family-friendly weekend, with more on offer than just music.
Alongside the bands and musicians, the festival is expected to include yoga, creative workshops and local street food. Food traders mentioned by organisers include Aupa and Waffling On.
The event’s smaller setting is part of its appeal. Rather than aiming to be a huge festival, Gadabout is designed to offer a more relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Where the Festival Is Taking Place
The festival will be held at High Hall Farm, Croglin, Armathwaite, CA4 9SG.
The rural setting places the event in the Eden Valley, giving visitors a countryside festival experience without travelling far from Cumbria’s towns and villages.
Ticket Prices
Weekend tickets are now available.
Current prices include:
- Adult weekend tickets: £70
- Children’s weekend tickets, age seven to 17: £40
- Children under six: free
- Day tickets: available from £40
The festival website says tickets can be bought online through the official Gadabout Festival website.
A Boost for Independent Music
Organisers say Gadabout aims to support the best new and independent artists.
This gives smaller acts a chance to reach new audiences, while also giving festival-goers the chance to discover music they may not hear at larger commercial events.
For Cumbria, events like Gadabout also help add variety to the county’s summer music and festival calendar.
What Visitors Can Expect
Visitors can expect a weekend built around live music, food, workshops and a relaxed rural setting.
The event is likely to appeal to families, music fans and people looking for a smaller festival experience.
With camping available across four days, it also gives people the option to make a full weekend of it rather than just attending for one day.
