New Building for Sacred Heart RC Primary School
Sacred Heart RC Primary School in Barrow was closed on January 16, 2023, due to structural issues. After a lengthy wait, the local planning committee approved plans for a new building on April 28, 2023. This decision has brought excitement to the school community.

Simone Beach, the headteacher, expressed her enthusiasm about the council’s decision. Having attended the school herself, she has dedicated her career to it. She stated, “We cannot wait to all be back together again on one site.”
