Norrie Tago MacIver Coming to Barrow this Summer

Norrie Tago MacIver, a celebrated Gaelic singer-songwriter, will perform at the Town hall, Banqueting Hall in Barrow on July 30th at 7.30pm. Hailing from Carloway and based in Fife, MacIver is known for his unique blend of traditional Gaelic music with modern influences.

MacIver has been recognised as a prominent figure in the music scene. Calum MacDonald from the band Runrig praised him as a singer with exceptional range and clarity. His ability to merge traditional melodies with contemporary rhythms has earned him acclaim.

Before his solo career, MacIver was the lead singer of the Scottish folk band Skipinnish for nine years. During this time, he performed at prestigious venues. Such as the Barrowlands and Edinburgh Castle. He also contributed to two successful albums: The Seventh Wave and Steer by the Stars.
