Two Bikes Worth £7,000 Stolen in Cumbria

Police are appealing for information after two motocross bikes worth around £7,000 were stolen from a West Cumbrian village.

The bikes were taken from a shed at a pub in Dearham. The incident happened overnight on March 12 at The Ploughman Inn.

Offenders forced entry by snapping a lock before removing the bikes, which are valued at approximately £3,500 each.

Details of the stolen bikes

The stolen bikes have been described as:

  • An orange KTM XC 250cc motocross bike
  • A white and blue Husqvarna TC 250cc motocross bike

Police believe the bikes may have been moved from the area following the theft and are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity to come forward.

Cumbria Police are asking anyone with information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the bikes to get in touch.
