Final Dave Day Confirmed: The Last Ride Home 2026

On June 20th, 2026, bikers will gather for the final Dave Day ride. Honouring the late Dave Myers. The event, titled ‘Dave Day: The Last Ride Home’, will start at Ace CafĂ© London at 6am. Riders will depart at 7am, with planned stops along the route. View our latest post for more details on the route and info for spectators.

Route and Schedule

The ride will follow a carefully mapped route along the M40 and M6. There are four designated rest stops for participants. The first stop is at Oxford Welcome Break services at 8am. Followed by the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull at 9.45am.

Afternoon Stops

After joining the M6, riders will pause at Knutsford northbound Moto Services at 11.45am. The final break will be at Lancaster Moto Services at 1.45pm, before arriving at Barrow Town Hall at 3.30pm.

Traffic Assistance

Organisers are working to secure blue-light traffic assistance. This will help guide the group safely onto the A40 at the trip’s start, ensuring a smooth journey.

Community Events

Independent events are planned in Barrow to coincide with the ride. A charity football match will take place at Holker Old Boys FC at noon, followed by a rugby fixture featuring Barrow Raiders later in the day.

A Tribute to Dave Myers

Jason Woodcock, a close friend of Dave Myers, emphasised the significance of this ride. He stated that this will be the last major event to remember their loved ones, especially Dave. The previous Dave Day events in 2024 and 2025 saw thousands of bikers join together to celebrate his legacy.

Final Opportunity

Woodcock encouraged both new and returning participants to join this final ride. He noted the importance of this event in honouring the memory of Dave Myers and the impact he had as part of the Hairy Bikers.
